Ayurveda
Ayurveda, the "Science of Life", is one of the oldest forms of
medicine in the world and represents the traditional medicine and the health system of India.
Ayurveda is based on the central idea that most of our emotional and physical suffering we experience is a direct
consequence of our past actions. We are responsible for what we live. External events, conflicts
with others, financial problems, or the health issues are only the expression of our inner world.
According to Ayurveda, health is not merely the absence of disease. True health involves several elements such
as the physical and mental balance, harmonious relationships with others, an occupation that brings professional satisfaction
and last but not least a deeper connection with the Self. If one of these elements is not present or is out of
balance, all the others will be affected. This in time can cause different physical and psychological
symptoms and ultimately the manifestation of the disease.
The Ayurvedic method is complete in the sense that it addresses the body, the mind and energy field that connects them.
Although its methods are focused mainly on the physical body, aiming to balance the Doshas - the elements
(water, fire, air) at the same time, it seeks to identify and eliminate the original cause of the imbalance
we may experience in the moment. In this way, the difficulty we are facing is not only solved, but it can become a
source of inspiration and an opportunity to discover the latent force within.
The purpose of this science is to promote a long and healthy life, giving us the possibility to manifest fully
our inner qualities and to express our mission in this world. Ultimately, it allows us to reconnect to
the inner source of wisdom, light and health.
Although a traditional Indian medical system, it is now widely adopted as a way of life all over the world and
can be adapted to the reality of each person. Once we understand its basic principles, it is very easy to follow and to
integrate in our daily life. The personal effort combined with the powerful Ayurveda procedures may bring a change for the better
at all levels.
Ayurveda allows us to become what we have always been: a complete, authentic, healthy and fulfilled person. Ultimately Ayurveda
is a tool that promotes balance, rejuvenation and a journey towards the SELF.

Legislation: The Ayurvedic practitioner is not a physician and the advice not a substitute for medical advice and medical treatment.
The Ayurvedic Method

The Bases
Emotional or stress factors could imbalance our Doshas even if we follow a healthy diet and lifestyle adapted to our Constitution. For this reason, generally it is recommended that an Ayurveda treatment should be followed in times of great stress, fatigue, transition or when we are going through important changes in our lives..

On Dieting
Ayurveda considers that our health cannot be separated from what we eat, what we do and what we think. It shows us how those daily living practices are related to our health condition..

Health
Ayurveda emphasizes the importance of prevention and teaches us how to address the health issues and remove the cause of those symptoms through natural and holistic methods..
