I sense that life is about embracing fully our own humanity while realising and expressing the Self which goes beyond it. My own experience, as well as the work experience with others, proved to me that this can happen through the integration of the layers around the self. These envelopes have formed through our individual experience on one hand, and through the influence of the collective mind on the other.
It is important to remember that while the goal is developing a healthy relationship with one’s self, the true value of self discovery is to be found in what happens along the way.
The purpose of working with ourselves is not to overcome the ego, or to become perfect, but to reach that state of spontaneity which allows the Divine energy to manifest through our own unique identity.
By releasing into the awareness that which is stuck in our mental field, we get to be more fluid in the way we express ourselves and live a life that is more in tune with our true self. The process is to be approached with curiosity, with a sense of exploration, with joy and with a sense of humour, as children do.
Daring to express our own individuality does not isolate us from the society. On the contrary, it gives us a deeper appreciation of what means to BE HUMAN and therefore it allows a more intense and a deeper relationship with the community. Thus, we will naturally bring forth something of value which can benefit the world in which we live.
